Track Pad Isn’t Working

This is the first in a series I’m titling the “Life of Tech Support”.  You may think they’re rude and overly basic, but here are some things that I deal with on a regular basis.

Today a user told me their trackpad on their laptop wasn’t working.  Well it turns out that the trackpad only works if you’re actually touching it.  She was rubbing her finger on the deck of the laptop, but not actually on the trackpad.  She was however insistent that her computer was broken and of course somehow it was my fault.
