Set up Godaddy domain and use Cyberduck

December 26th, 2005 by Brandon

Through Godaddy you need to go to My Account -> Manage Domains -> check the box and click ‘Set Nameservers’

You will then use the nameservers from your host (asmallorange) it should look something like dns1.example.com and dns2.example.com

After you do that, you will need to wait between 1 hour and 24 hours for your dns names to propagate across the internet.

Then open Cyberduck and create a bookmark to either
ftp://yourdomain.com
or
yourdomain.com

the put in your username and password.

once Cyberduck has connected, double click public_html then the folder of your domain. Put your files into that domain folder.

With Cyberduck you need to drag the files from your desktop onto the folder you want to put them in.
