Airport Extreme 5.7 Problems

If you’ve experienced nothing but problems with the latest Airport Extreme Software Update, try downgrading back to 5.5.1 and that will fix nearly all of your issues.

Unfortunately if you manage a lot of Airports, this has to be done manually, but it is worth the headache of trying to restart and figure out what is wrong with your Airports.

Remember that this update will disconnect users and force the Airport Extreme to restart so it is a good idea to do this after hours.  If you experience any issues, upgrading back to 5.7 is as simple as opening the Airport Utility in your Applications/Utilities folder.
